Thank you for standing with me in this historical recall election. Together, we made history. We sent a clear message to Scott Walker and the GOP party bosses that we will not stand for their extreme, radical agenda.
The people of the 18th Senate District recalled a senator who put the party bosses, the special interests, and Scott Walker ahead of the constituents he was supposed to represent. He has been recalled because of the gutting of investments in our schools by $1.6 billion - meaning larger class sizes, less education for our kids. He has been recalled because of the raising of taxes on seniors and working families.
I cannot thank you enough for standing with me in this fight. Together, we will share our vision is to fight for working and middle class families, to provide health care for children and seniors, and to solve our state’s fiscal problems with shared sacrifice instead of tax breaks for big corporations and the wealthy.
On August 27, I will be sworn in as the new State Senator for Wisconsin’s 18th Senate District. Please join me at the ceremony to celebrate our victory together:
303 Ceape Ave, Oshkosh
1pm Swearing-in ceremony with Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson presiding
Once again, thank you for your generous support. Together we will keep Wisconsin a great place to work, live, and raise a family.Sincerely,
