Wednesday, May 9th is a special day here in Wisconsin this year: Unity Day, the day that we come together to support the Democratic nominee for governor Tom Barrett against Scott Walker. On Wednesday, we will begin campaigning for Tom Barrett. We need to start the general election strong! We will have thousands of volunteers making phone calls and knocking on doors across the state that day, and we need your help.
We're in the final stretch. May 9th will be only 27 days from the general election on June 5th. The only way we can defeat Scott Walker's millions of out-of-state special interest dollars is by having an active and enthusiastic volunteer base. Our grassroots campaign will carry us to victory on June 5th if we have enough volunteers to boost turnout.
This is it. We've been working on it for a year. Don't sit it out. We only get one chance to win back Wisconsin.
