I have a simple and easy request for you all. No it doesn't require money or bringing cases of water to the office. Today is not only Mother's Day but it is also my birthday. I turned the big 2-4 this year. I was hoping as a birthday gift to me, a Mother's Day gift to your mother and my own mother you would sign up for a shift through our Oshkosh Recall Office. Whether you are up in Neenah or Menasha, out in Omro or right here in Oshkosh, all I want for my birthday is a successful campaign.

I don't mean to sound selfish here (it was Jess' idea anyways) but it really would make my day. I spent my birthday in the office making calls, my mom is sick at home, my sister is in Colorado and dad is in Nevada. You guys are my big recall family and you all mean a lot to me. Seeing your faces is the best present ever.

What will you do with 27 days to oust Walker?

Wednesday, May 9th is a special day here in Wisconsin this year: Unity Day, the day that we come together to support the Democratic nominee for governor Tom Barrett against Scott Walker. On Wednesday, we will begin campaigning for Tom  Barrett. We need to start the general election strong!  We will have thousands of volunteers making phone calls and knocking on doors across the state that day, and we need your help.

We're in the final stretch. May 9th will be only 27 days from the general election on June 5th. The only way we can defeat Scott Walker's millions of out-of-state special interest dollars is by having an active and enthusiastic volunteer base. Our grassroots campaign will carry us to victory on June 5th if we have enough volunteers to boost turnout.
